Our Last Hopes

lyrics

Our time has come and the only thing I’ve got left is my companions through this life, and I’ve got nothing left to hold on to. I asked you what you thought of life and you said “it’s for the old and nothing else”. I remember the summer past, driving in and into the night, spending it in a shopping cart in full speed. We had only each other to rely on and everyone felt the same way, me and you and everyone. I’ve only got one thing left to hold on to. Our time has come and the only thing I’ve got left is my companions through this life, and I’ve got nothing left to hold on to. Every day is the same but the memories makes you want to believe in this, in this life. I remembered the summer past, trashing down and into the night, spending it in sweat recording punk songs. The happiest guy on earth, but it’s not because of me. My friends make this life worth living. I’ve only got one thing left to hold on to. My friends; Kingston is my reason why, it’s my excuse why I am what I am. I’m proud what I’m part of. It gives me something that makes me God. This time I know the reason. This time I’ve found the answer. This time I’ve found the answer but I haven’t yet found myself. I am proud of what I am. I’m proud what I’m part of; it gives me something that makes me God.
We are our last hopes to hold on to.
